Oculus Meta Quest 2 Review - Should YOU buy for 2022 ? (Honest Review)

i just recently purchased the oculus quest 2. and let me tell you something i'm loving it so far and there are a couple things about it that i really wish i could change but let me tell you i do not regret it so stay tuned because in this video i'm going to be talking about why i think you should get the oculus quest 2 for 2022 so let's get right into it what's happening youtube caesar random here and welcome back to the channel if you're new here please go ahead hit that subscribe button follow

me like i said today we're going to be talking about and reviewing the oculus quest 2 and i'm going to be talking about the things i love about it and a couple of the things that i wish were better or i could change there's a lot of pros and a little bit of cons so let's start off with the pros first the very first thing i want to talk about is the portability so you can literally take this wherever you want to go you could throw it in your backpack if you see there is no wires whats oever and

that's what i love this device but with that being said the fact that you can literally just charge it up put it in your backpack and take it anywhere you want is amazing to me and for the low price of 299 which that is the next thing i want to talk about the price of this is the same price as an xboxy resist or even a nintendo switch but you're getting so much with this i mean i will have a video comparing this in the series zest so subscribe if you haven't but for 299 t he experience you get

the games you get and the amount of utility you get like even for your office job or like coding job or anything like that is just fantastic and it's amazing so i definitely love this device when it comes to the price like i said 299 is amazing but you also have to take the cost of games into consideration so when i bought this it was obviously 2.99 i got beat saber which is 30 that is an amazing game i highly recommend it um i got another game of it was 39.99 so like 40 bucks it was the walking

dead which is awesome and then i also got a mini golf game which is 15 bucks these are all great however it does kind of tend to add up after a while but as long as you get games you like and that you think you're gonna play all the time then you're set and that kind of brings me to the next thing which is the whole gaming experience or vr experience with this thing in general as you can see there are kind of sensors right here around it which you don't even need to use your controllers if

you're using like office test stuff or even using just the desktop on here so what i did is i actually went inside the headset recorded a video and here it is this is me inside the headset showing you all of the cool things not only games but also work task items that could be used in the oculus quest and why i think you should get it alright guys so now you're in here with me so i'm going to show you around a little bit inside it's rea lly cool look it tracks your thumb and everything like that

um and i'm going to be in the little corner if you want to see me in real life so literally what i'm doing i got a couple games and first let me tell you i love the fact that you can actually change your environment so this is the one i picked it's a little space environment i think it's pretty sick but if you want to change it um let me go to settings and show you blah blah settings and everything's really easy once you get the hang of it so this is the default one that sorts you out at

which is pretty cool and then you got this one which is also really sick and if you notice like if i go outside the boundary a little bit you see that like it shows me where it is so you know like i was saying you can go through any of these these are all really really cool and i'm telling you right now being inside of here is just a super different experience and it's really dope like the video on youtube is one thing but trust me if you get one this is literally gonna blow your mind away and

this one's really cool because look at my hands you can see like i do thumbs up good job guys it tracks your thumbs shooting guns double guns and then just look at my hands so what i'm going to do in this game like there are side missions it's cool because you have like a backpack this one is my favorite game of all time you have your backpack you have your gun you have your knife you got your flashli ght boom boom boom and you got your journal everything's just really dope and like you could

pick things up like this and then drink them look now this game is dope i'm still looking for a zombie to kill but one thing i do want to mention is the fact that whenever you're playing games that like you have to move around it gets you a little dizzy at first but at least for me after a while it's good but that shooting game i was talking about gum raiders with like the boost and everyt hing like that it's a little bit harder because like you're like using your jet pack like even sprinting

right now in this game is getting me a little dizzy um is there oh look there's one over there we'll talk to georgie over here hey hey doofus oh that didn't do much hey buddy hey how you doing how you doing how you doing yeah come on this you're gonna be in a video there you go okay so this next part that i'm in right here is powerful productivity this is something that i reall y recommend that you should use this for if you work from home a lot or even if you code or just want to be in a

different world whenever you're getting your work done so yes games are amazing on here and if you are a gamer like myself i highly recommend you get it but if you're somebody who wants to get it for something like this like where you can meet in vr have meetings or even do all of your work it's really really great so i'm gonna play this real quick just so you can k ind of see what this is about really sick [Music] now you could hook up your screen you could do all that stuff it's i'm telling you

this is an amazing piece of technology facebook really outdid themselves with this so now that we talked a lot about the pros and you got to see a little bit of footage now i kind of want to talk about the cons so when it comes to this device it's amazing and i love it but the battery life is not that long like it's like a three three and a half hour bat tery life and it takes a little while for it to charge to be honest the charger type is the usb type c you also got the headphone jack and then

you got a couple of the volume and a couple other items too but what i want to talk about is just the fact that the battery does not last too long they do sell an additional battery pack that you could put on the back of your headset and hook it up so it does last longer i think that's like a hundred dollars though so i mean if you want it yo u should get it i think i actually might and that's another thing that's kind of a con for me is just all the accessories just because yes i love the

accessories but there's so many i feel like you have to buy in order to make this work like we were just talking about the battery pack if you want it charged more than three hours i'm a i'm a gamer and i love gaming i game for more than three hours sometimes you need to get that battery pack which is an additional hundred dollars or like i said earlier i like to put this in my backpack and take it anywhere but part of me is afraid of putting it in my backpack because i'm afraid like something

in there will scratch the lens like then you have to get the carrying case which is also another 50 bucks so i mean it's really really cool but then at the same time it's like you could have added possibly a really really cheap like nylon case or some sort of like case in there even if it's cheap just so we could have it just so it's protected from all the other stuff in my backpack but you like i said maybe that's just me who cares if you got money below it on on the accessories i probably am

gonna buy the carrying case the battery pack i don't know i'm a little concerned about that i don't know i might i might buy it i'll let you know subscribe and i'll let you know what accessories i get and you know how much i spent on this in total but in general this device is just amazing i absolutely love it watching tv watching like i realized they had some basketball games on there it's super sick i love this device so with all that being said do i think that you should get the oculus quest

2 absolutely if you've been thinking about it and you're like on the fence just do it just get it i promise you won't regret it at all this is such an amazing piece of technology the experience is amazing the games are crazy and the fact that you could take it with you take it to your families t ake it to your cousins take it anywhere and have everyone experience this is just an amazing product i love it if you have an xbox and you're like you want to switch it up you want to change or something
