is that an elite strap wtf is that an elite straw why use the elite strap why use the elite strap is that an elite wtf look i can i can explain so since an insane amount of you guys picked up a quest to this christmas f in the chat for those of us who didn't feels bad man still no friends not even virtual ones but for those of us that did get a question recently i've wrapped up every accessory that i deem as borderline crucial to have as a question my opinions from my past accessory videos have

changed a bit over the last year or so so this will act as some sort of update to those previous videos though there's still some of my greatest work so i'd still recommend you check them out thank you very much i'll be ranking each of these accessories on a scale from one to ten ten being obviously the best and one being absolute doggy dog water not because i'm uncreative enough to think of any new way of making these videos but because it's in my opinion legitimately the best way t o convey

how i feel about each of these products also this is not sponsored at all though over the last year some of these accessories have been sent to me for free however that will not even slightly change my opinion or ranking of them that said this video will feature a bunch of products from kiwi design this is because i've used their products for a while now and they saw that so they just sent me a bunch of their new stuff so i have a lot of kiwi design accessories right now a lot of which are

really [ __ ] good so with that elongated muskrat of an intro let's get into this oh and if this video is helpful adult like and something much appreciated or at least a like for refusing to take down my christmas lights it's still christmas and you can't [ __ ] tell me otherwise so starting with the kiwi design elite strap i know stinky winky another head strap recommendation just hit me up for a second if you've been on this channel for a while you should be fully aware of kiwi and the

accessories they make they make some absolutely sick home mode accessories though i will be roasting one of them in a little moment here this kiwi solution to the disaster no offense marquee boy that is the elite strap which i've unfortunately seen many quest users falling for this christmas as a combo gift with the quest too for those of you christmas noobs that are out of the loop still even like a year after its release it is breaking after a fe w months of use facebook a while back now has

claimed to have fixed this issue on the production line but there's still posts even just from a few months ago of people still having broken elite straps this may be because the defective units are still in circulation or because of the elite strap's fundamental design flaw the reason for this is very well and expertly explained by a five head industrial product designer on the quest 2 subreddit which details how opposing forces betwee n the elite strap and speaker on the quest 2 as well as

added torsion and poor material choice essentially make the elite strap a ticking time bomb one that to the best my knowledge has yet to be defused by facebook slash matter by changing anything on the production line oh i'm so happy with that slicker than your mom analogy so third-party companies have stepped in to provide an actual solution and there are a metric ton of them many of which being significantly cheaper than th e 50 elite strap including the upgraded elite strap by kiwi design which

just about matches the elite straps retail price so now it's time for those of us that bought an oculus elite strap to regret our purchasing decisions in a section of this video that i like to call tp poopoo elite strap boogaloo [Music] this is by far the best elite strap i have ever tried for the quest 2. in fact i'm gonna take this a step further and say this is the best accessory that i have ever tried the que st to if i'm being completely honest when kiwi wanted to send this thing over for me

to test out i honestly felt a little bad as i already had a head strap that i was happy with like probably many of you watching right now to be totally honest i don't give a [ __ ] about the 69 thousandth quest to headstrap but man did i have a religious experience with this head strap from heaven i unboxed this thing live over on my twitch twitter tv get hit just saying closing in on twitch partner p lease check out my stream i was visibly surprised with how easy the install was this thing

snapped right over the speaker mounts with ease why is this a big deal well the past head straps that i've tried this is usually the hardest part of the install somehow stripes are a total son of a [ __ ] to have snap over the speaker mounts as i'm sure it's difficult for a lot of manufacturers to hit that balance between an easy snap over and still holding in place since the install these things do not budge at all they're truly a perfect fit the head strap also has a point of articulation here

unlike the oculus elite strap which makes flipping the headset up to talk to someone in the room or putting the headset on just a little bit easier this is something that the vive cosmos tried to do to a bigger extent but ended up not really working and causing this gap between the headset and users faces this is however not a problem with kiwi's elite strap kiwi seem to have n ailed literally everything about this thing to a point where talking about this head strap makes me sound like a kiwi

shill like no matter what the top strap is also fantastic it's very well padded even after an hour of play time i experienced absolutely no pain or strain from the top of my head in fact i've felt no pain whatsoever with this head strap i've actually felt nothing i mean it's probably the closest that i felt to having no headset on my head in fact i'm going to go a s tep further into sounding like a kiwi shill as this honestly feels better than even the index head strap to me which for years now

has to me been the best vr comfort experience this may be my head shape but letting other family members try this thing over christmas proved that it wasn't just me everyone that tried the headset said the exact same thing and a lot of this is likely down to the rear part of this head strap like the elite strap this headstrap features an o shaped head pa d raised from the back of the adjustment mechanism the adjustment mechanism although a little loud works flawlessly and the o shaped pad has a

lot of padding in here keeping literally anyone's head that i gave this thing to nice and snug in fact you can probably completely loosen this top strap and still have a relatively comfortable experience something i scream at people not to do with the default strap you should probably still adjust this top strap properly though so i've litera lly licked this head strap's ass for a good chunk of this video let's talk about its flaws of which there are two one i am slightly concerned about the thin

plastic that connects between the side mounts of the head strap and the back part they bend just a little bit and i don't want a repeat of the elite strap situation though i haven't seen any reports of this snapping or breaking for anyone so far so provided that this does not snap this isn't really a big flaw the only flaw that st ill exists though is that it looks so much like a [ __ ] elite strap that i keep getting bullied by my own subscribers thinking that i'm using an elite strap the kiwi

design upgraded elite strap in all its glory gets a 10 out of 10 must buy next up is a recurring item in these videos and that's the mag tube by protube vr which is about to be reviewed by a pro tuber using the mag tube by pro tube the mag tube is essentially a gun stock made out of some carbon fiber if you buy the car bon fiber option that is joined together by some plastic connectors and a stock your controllers fit into the little cute ass looking ass cup and can come on and off the stock

using magnets and at this point in this section you might be thinking yo why are you showing old ass dusty ass index ass footage that i've repeated throughout my videos and not quest 2 gameplay well one of the magnets on my quest 2 controller cups wasn't magnetic i guess and caused the cup to fall off harde r than my sponsors after making a sakura deez nuts joke the protein were nice enough to send me some strong replacement magnets so strong they [ __ ] welded to each other during transport and

literally cannot be separated no matter how long i tried to separate them so i've been showing index gameplay in the background and in total fairness to pro 2 i haven't heard of any other users experiencing this and my index mounts have never failed me i think i just got extremely unlucky in thi s case that said the experience of this product is virtually the same between the quest and the index and this thing is just awesome i almost never play an fps game without it as it essentially makes you

a god of whatever fps you're playing as you can literally laser beam everyone with the stability that this thing provides you you can also adjust it to your heart's content to fit your goblin gamer body i bought a sling with this thing which makes dropping this thing to switch to a s idearm like john wick even freaking easier this is however 119 euros which is about a hundred and thirty four dollars as much as i love this thing i don't know how much i can justify its price for the average

user you have despair change and you play a lot of fps games i can 100 recommend this thing and consider it pretty essential hence its place on this list but due to its pricing and vr only just starting to hit the mainstream in mass still very few people likely a lot of y ou watching are still not committed to spending that amount of money right away so the pro tube gets a solid five on this list next up i'm gonna slap two products into one as you kind of have to choose one or the other here

we're talking about sweaty sloppy slippy slimy spooky dooky i wanna cookie face pads the facepad rabbit doll is a deep one so i'm gonna go over my current top two first is the fitness pack by the arkava this is a slightly newer and updated version of the origi nal vr cover but this one has some vents to help with better airflow and keep the face pad just a little cooler as well as keeping the quest from overheating got a bigger nose guard to help prevent light leakage as well as two padding

options a minimal one and a more padded foam plus a nice little lens protector this thing is absolutely great it's way easier to clean up the default base pad that absorbs sweat like mark zuckerberg absorbs souls this is why i'm never going to be a n oculus ambassador it's comfortable relatively plushy and helps reduce the impact that this headset has on the front of your face so the padding is a little thin for my liking and causes my long ass eyelashes to touch and smudge the lenses and video

cover is not the only option here there are a range of cheap silicone covers on places like amazon as well as the kiwi design replacement facial interface i wanted to mention this one as i've actually been using this one as my daily dri ver recently is vent similar to those that are found on the vr cover fitness pack to improve ventilation it also has a pretty big anti-light leakage nose pad and a slightly wider overall shape that puts more pressure around the edges of your face than the vr cover

alternatives that put pressure around your forehead and upper cheek so what does this mean why bother including this i've recently found this like i said to be my daily driver maybe it's just the shape of my goblin gamer fac e but this thing fits really nicely and balances the pressure on my face really well the padding options also seem to be a good bit thicker on this as well which helps prevent my eyelashes from touching the lenses since using this i haven't had any issues with smudging of the

lenses so if you have longer eyelashes like me i'd honestly suggest giving this one a look though other users that have i'd assume a significantly different face shape to mine and shorter eyelashes likely will be nefit more from the vr cover option as a few people have complained about the shape of the kiwi facial interface but for me this thing is pretty damn perfect since both of these are pretty neck and neck on this list i'm just gonna roll these into one and hit him with a seven on this

list now next up is one i am gonna have to roast just a little bit the kiwi grips these are essentially grips that go with the quest controllers that give them just a little extra length now this may be useful to some users with just monster hands or play a lot of sword games but they run into the same issue that the beat saber grips that i reviewed earlier this year had you may think that the extended handle would be useful in games like beat sabo that mimic a sword but in reality they

just kind of screw up the controller's center of gravity making quick flick shots just a little bit harder to perform the index like strap is really nice if i'm totally honest but not wort h the hassle of the longer length these do come with a nice protective cover that go around the quest 2 controller rings something that clearly this user my discord could have done with like jesus christ what the [ __ ] even happened here how is this possible they also have a nice little quick access battery

section on the side here if i can open it please god there we go and you can replace your battery pretty damn quick in there unfortunately the longer handles are just too much of a nuisance to justify all the other nice benefits or the price tag so these are gonna get a3 on this list but you might be like why don't they just make a shorter version of this that you know doesn't have this added length and you can actually use the rest of the benefits for these well it's almost as if that's exactly

what kiwi weeby doobie woobie decided to do here we have now released some upgraded versions of these that are shorter and don't seem to add any extra length to the quest 2 controllers they're available on amazon right now i've just purchased them myself because upon hearing about these i had to go and check them out right away after my experience with this one however i'm not going to try and review them too much here because i literally don't have them yet i can only just assume that they're

literally a shorter version of these and that sounds [ __ ] amazing and i wouldn't be surprised if they do become my daily driver so i'm gonna give this a preemptive eight on this list again i don't have them yet they're just a shorter version of these ones take that opinion as you will next up is this quest to stand you guessed it from kiwi wee wee i need a pp so if you go to amazon right now and you just search for s2 stand you get like 20 of the exact same stand from multiple different

companies so this is gonna be just a general review as they all sort of seem like the exact same stand system it works not hard to assemble you put your headset on it and your controllers you can also put an index on there no problem it's a stand what more do i need to say it's useful if you have a place to put it but i personally still just slap my quest too on this office fan because it works just as well this isn't a knock on the stand at all sounds completely fine there's nothing

really wrong with it it's just the quest is pretty easy i think for most people to find a spot for it to live in and if you have somewhere to put this stand and you can think of a specific use for it yeah it's pretty damn good is it essential to own though nah not really quest to stand gets a solid six out of ten if this list was at all helpful a like maybe a hobby will be would be much appreciated if not no hard feelings i'll keep making videos for you anyway because you're just great the
