How To Connect Oculus Quest 2 To Bluetooth Speaker - JBL Charge 5

in this video i'm going to show you how to connect your oculus 2 to a bluetooth speaker and in this case it's the jbl charge 5. hey everybody this is the review dad welcome to the channel or welcome back to the channel hello so today i thought i'd show you guys how to connect an oculus 2 to a bluetooth speaker and again it's the jbl charge five so you can do it with any bluetooth speaker the jbl charge three or charge four in this case it's the charge five so what i've done is i've filmed myself

on the oculus as well as the phone on the right hand side that's doing a screen record and the left is the actual recording video from the right side of the screen so what you do is you go into oculus menu in the bottom left on that small strip and then you go down to experimental features and once you're on that menu you move down to bluetooth and you can click on pair now over here you can see it's blacked out so i think that's a security feature from oculus anyway what happens her e is you

click on add a device or search for device and then on the right you saw me now clicking the bluetooth button for the jbl charge five and then that then obviously sends out the signal to pair with the oculus and then once the oculus finds the speaker then what you just need to do is accept that pairing and once that happens the speaker will make a noise to show it's connected to the oculus and then all the sounds that are coming from the oculus speakers will then move to the wireless

bluetooth speaker in this case the jbl charge 5. so you'll see that happening now so i'm clicking around and just doing all the settings and that but obviously it's blacked out from security features i think from oculus side and that's it it's really simple to do and once it connects i will be playing a beat saber with some of the sound going through the jbl 5 and yeah it's really punchy it's really good i'll also be doing a review of this speaker in one of my other videos so remember to come

back and have a look so don't forget to subscribe to my channel also like the videos if you're enjoying the content and uh yeah so let's see how this now uh sounds once i start playing some of the cool games on the oculus 2. so once the speaker's found you'll see a little menu pop up you'll see it up here now it says pier with the jbl charge five so all you need to do is click on the pair button once you're on the oculus and not from the phone as y ou see over here but with the remotes you just

point the remote click on pair or just use your hands uh when the oculus picks up the hand movement and that's it and then you can hear the speaker picking up the sound and the connection and it starts playing the menu items and that and yeah so that's it really easy you can do it with the bluetooth headphones anything like that and then your sound is uh now portable on a nice speaker or headset so what i'll do is select a beat saber he re and then let that load up and then i'll play a bit of it

and the sound will all come out of the speaker so the phone will be picking up the sound so the quality won't be as great as having a microphone uh but it's yeah it's just to show you guys that it can be done and it works really well uh the speaker is really punchy it's got some really good bass for for the size that it is that's next to an an s22 ultra samsung phone as you can see on the screen so the speakers pretty small but yeah it's really loud [Music] [Music] uh [Music] so that's the video
